History of the Pride's Beginning:
The Misfit Pride was started by a lioness named Aurora Sankoffa who was a part of a pride who were bred to be "different". They were taken care of by a Village in Africa, and they used the big cats for hunting, carrying items, protection, and rarely fighting for land. One day a neighboring village attacked and killed the people, seeing no use for the lions, they set them lose and drived them away. Aurora was separated from her mother and siblings during the attack and was alone in the world. She met many prides, but they all shunned her because she was a "freak" to them. She met up with another small Lioness named Nadra. This lion was strange like her, and she was a dwarf compared to regular lions. They teamed up and tried to survive on their own, but without hunting knowledge, they would starve. They ran in to a male lion named Adwin - Badru who, just like them, was unusual and had freak powers. He joined them and began hunting for them. Together, they started the Misfit Pride. So whenever they found an abandoned lion like themselves, they would take them in. Thus they began slowly creating their own Pride.
Aurora has a Bandanna tied around her neck with a feather dangling from it because that was the only way the tribe knew her from the other lions they had bred, she continues to wear it, in fear she may forget where she had come from.
Adwin - Badru and Aurora became mates and are now the Alpha's of the pride.

CONTEST(S):

-Healing Winds Mark Map-
A few of us at the forum noticed that the maps we have now are nice, but wheres the rest? We have a map for the north mark, south mark and an overview map. So onto the current contest, we want to see what you think the healing winds looks like!
( Remember to read the blurb about the healing winds in it's own journal, which can be found in our menu to the left there, or/and look at the forum for it [link] to know what the land marks are and the general layout we are looking for. )
