WHAT IS THE MISFIT PRIDE?

ANSWER: The Misfit Lion Pride began with a single Lion, Aurora Sankofa, who was left in the wild after being taken care of by humans since a cub. She never learned to hunt for food, make shelter, and socialize with wild lions. Poor Aurora spent her days wandering, in search of some pride to take her in, and yet, she failed. Until one fateful hot African day, she bumped in to another Lioness who was also falling down the path of a dieing lonely lioness. These two, found strength in each other, and continued, together, to find food and start a life. Once they found Adwin-Badru, all was clear. Adwin-Badru could hunt for food, tell them the unknowns, and teach them how to be a pride. With the beginning of this small pride, who else will they meet in the African plains? Now this Misfit Pride, roams Africa, looking for their own territory, and picking up Loner Cubs, Lionesses and Lions; No matter their attitude, stature, shape, color, background, age, or deformities.

Since then the pride has grown considerably! (:
With so many lions and big cats in a pride there's no telling how a character will change and develop! Either into a kind hearted pride mate, or into a vicious rouge, the choice lies on the wings of fate.


WHAT DO I NEED TO JOIN?

ANSWER: To either make up a Lion character from scratch (highly recommended) or if you currently have a Lion / Lion hybrid character who is certainly unique and needs a pride, feel free to roar for my attention!

Requirements:
+ A Lion who lives in AFRICA IN CURRENT DAY.
+ A Name with a Meaning. [Ex. Aurora "Dawn"]
+ If a "Made from scratch" Lion, a Symbol on its body.
+ Unique Traits that make Him/Her stand out from everyday Lions.
[Ex. Fur Colors, Deformities, Special Abilities, etc]
+ A Background story of either their troubled past, or Why they were not accepted by normal Prides.
+ A Reference Sheet. (Made By Kiyoshi or Yourself)



HOW DO I ASK TO JOIN?


1. Fill out this Form:

Reff Sheet: (A link to the image)
Name: (name of character and it's meaning go here)
Symbol: (what symbol, where on the lion, and its meaning go here)
Species: (If its a hybrid, or has other forms ect.)
Relationship: (For a lion that's not a pride member, put either, Ally, Outcast, Foe, or Unknown this is your character's relationship with the Misfit Pride.)
Sex:
Age: (Cub, Adolescent, Adult, or Old)
Rank: (Alphas decide this if the character is part of the Misfit Pride, put down what you'd like and we'll see if it's acceptable.(You must always ask permission for higher ranks). If your character is not part of the pride, leave this blank.)
Mark: (Which part of the pride's territory your lion lives in. If not in any, aka not part of the pride, then put 'Rouge'.)
Sire: (The father, this is optional, use only if the fathers a character)
Dam: (The mother, this is optional, use only if the mothers a character)
Siblings: (This is optional, use only if the relations a character)
Mate: (Yes, none, never, is looking ect.)
Cubs: (this is optional, use only if the character has them)

Please try to update the Bios you make, adding cubs, age, and note us if the character has died, It makes it much easier for us to update our lists!

And new members, PLEASE check the current Names that are Used List and TRY NOT TO pick a name that other chars already have, it gets confusing. To help get variety, try combining names, e.g:

Nuru & Awiti = Nuriti, Awiru, Nurawi etc...
the name can in this way combine two meanings, and lessen confusion.

Marks?
Confused about Marks? Go to our front journal and under "Pride Info:" or the "marks" section and look at each mark there with it's discription to decide which your lion(s) belongs in.</sup>

3. Send us a NOTE with the subject 'Join' and the filled out form, tell us whether you are entering an Original OLD Character or making a New one from scratch. And put the forum in your reff pictures artist comments. (so if we look back we'll know that's a lion in the pride)
Also add in the note what your member name for our forum will be so we can validate you ASAP.
